what a lovely book about the heart aches of infertility and then the maize of the adoption world. Their daughter really did chose them. I couldn't help but have my breathe taken away, tears roll down my face and some great laughter in that her "big fat Greek" story-telling way.
Nia created this book to tell her story but to also help couples who think they can't afford to adopt by shining a light on the foster / adopt world that no one talks about. Currently there are 120,000 children of all ages that have been emancipated from their families and are legally able to be adopted.
