Under Water

I'm still under water with projects but wanted to say hello. HELLO. I also wanted to mention Samantha French, the woman who painted this picture I've been lusting after f.o.r.e.v.e.r ... DUH, totally has an Etsy site and dagnamit if I didn't buy a print for myself as a belated birthday present.

Maysles

this made me smile this morning when I got the Barneys email blast announcing their Albert Maysles glasses. If you're a fan of Grey Gardens Documentary then I'm sure you have a smile on your face as well right now.

Granted, the Maysles Brothers did quite a few other documentaries such as the iconic "Gimme Shelter" about the Rolling Stones but Grey Gardens is nearest to my heart.

I recently discovered this company Elizabeth Olliver - which is brilliant and totally my style



the abridged version? essentially they believe we want simple clothes to simplify life [um yes!] and by the twist of a bangle or the change of a shoe it can go from day to night. Dunno, fairly brilliant if you ask me.

Ms. Elizabeth hails from the hallways of Donna Karan Collection where she fell in love with fine fabrics which she now uses in her own collection.
