It took me a year to have prints made from our wedding. They are currently sitting on my office floor. I also have about 1,000 things framed already in my house and stacked in misc places [artfully of course]. This stacking shelf idea is all me. Stack on the floors, stack on the walls it's all good.

I'm kinda crazy about how color transitions between rooms. One of the many quirks I have. This is kinda perfect really. As is that giant photo above the bed. Yes. No, on the green quilt covering the couch though. I'll pass on that.

It's probably an intern running the Twitter over there but a girl can dream. Hey, maybe they found this stashed in a closet finally. If that's the case Jeff is up there in heaven helping a girl out.

It may be every possible life question answered in the most thoughtful and amazing way. There were a couple of chapters that were so moving I had to put the book down and walk around the block.

I'm not sure I've ever cried as much reading a book, as I did with this one. I find it amazing that she never spent time in therapy. Her conversations are someone well versed in boundries and good, thoughtful living. Her trail adventure must have been one hell of a life learning experience.

Read Wild first but make Tiny Beautiful Things next up.

It's going on over three weeks now without a day off. I have a mega order due this week so we've in over-drive here. We've got all official on your arses though. Official Richie aprons and walkie talkies so we can talk easily from press room [a la garage] to office upstairs [and the occasional third floor chat as well].

I can tell you that working this much, that my daydreams consist of a hotel room and excedrin PM with black out curtains. All I want to do is sleep and order room service.

I can't say enough good things about Wild. The short story? the woman walked pretty much the state of California and figured out her life in the process. We should all be so brave to examine ourselves in such a fashion.

I had read an excerpt in a fashion mag when it was first released and didn't really think much about it, but a friend recommended it so I went for it. The book as a whole sucked me in so much that I stayed up till midnight every night reading. I blew through it in about a week it was so good.

Jenny Lawson, I'm not familiar with her blog but will seek it out now. Her writing style initially irritated me as a reader but as soon as I got acclimated to her banter-like style, it's produced tear-level laughter. Two thumbs up for Let's Pretend This Never Happened.

PS if you are in HR... you can't not read her chapter on being in HR. One of the funniest things I've ever read. I can say without a blink that I could not.do.that.job.ever.
