A Moment in Time

I can tell you the exact moment that I first saw this Harper's Bazaar cover.

I was in college, I had gone into the market to pick up something and walking to the check out I saw it. It stopped me in my tracks and took my breathe away.

The debut issue of Editor Liz Tilberis. 

Ms. Tilberis’ job was to reinvent the Hearst flagship glossy. That mission was accomplished, judging from the surface of things, at least, almost instantly with Ms. Tilberis’ relaunch issue in September 1992. The new Bazaar , art directed by Fabien Baron, was sleek and inviting. The cover showed supermodel Linda Evangelista, post-grunge and glamorous. “Enter the Era of Elegance” the September cover line read

It's still the most perfect cover of a magazine ever.
