bunnies...probably not a lot here till after new years but I thought I'd share this one thing I saw today...I'm feeling a bit frumpy and chubby lately {shocking I realize after the holidays}. Thought I'd go check out some fashion to lift my style spirits back up. If you have a few minutes roll through Tommy Ton's giant roll of yummy images on Style.com
I just saw 3/4 of this movie on Sundance and I'm madly in love. Beautiful Losers please watch it - it would make me so happy to know that you did. I might say that you should only watch it if you're an art lover or maybe you just want to know what it's like to be inside my brain.
Also, I just dropped of my last order of the year and I'm super excited to NOT be working for a few days. I love what I do but I need a breakie-poo.
Chris and I are headed to Bean-Town for Christmas. We're not exactly staying in a castle but there will be snow if that counts. Plus the photo? just damn pretty. >via this lady
One of the projects that I've been working frantically on in the past month was a super fun project for Ms. Jamie Flannigan over on Souled a Realtor with Heart. She gives good text don't you know? {she does} So we got together to do this fun set of 20 questions. Her words–my color and type treatments. Did I mention they're naughty? well some of them are anyway. I might have blushed once or twice thinking about my own answers while making them.
think of it as sex and the city reality style. You could go Jersey Shore {how would snookie answer it I am curious to know} with it or New York Upper East Side...it's all up to you.
I'm thinking New Years Eve and Champers will make a *brilliant* combination if you ask me. It will definitely turn your party into something to talk about for weeks to come.
have I ever told you I keep a notebook by my desk 24-7? I have for years now. When I left my job of 14 years I had notebooks going back almost 10 of those. I write down my daily lists, contacts sometimes a taped photo or an inspiration. I can remember from those books what side of the page I wrote down a hotel's name and number from visual reference [and I've had to do it on a few occasions years after the fact]
I have only one rule for my notebooks. They need to be cute {duh} but they also need to have a spiral bound so they stay open at all times.
dog-gonnit this one is so cute it makes me want to skip the spiral bound rule. {one in each color please!} $35
lauren hutton is a new face for JCrew right now. She's the bomb don't you think? I also love the fact that they didn't retouch a single freckle or wrinkle out of her - it's what women look like [even though I would retouch the hell out of myself given the chance]
it's so lovely to see her, I forgot about the clothes. Probably not what JCrew had in mind but it says a lot about the woman. The clothes don't wear her, she wears the clothes.
I am ALWAYS cold. I wear a scarf 10.5 months out of the year even in So Cal. I realized a few years ago if I kept my neck and chest warm that it was at least half the battle. Lately I've been looking like a homeless woman with 10 layers of clothing on in my home office.
I was thinking that this little gem would be IT though. It's down right half of a sweater - which I love find it on Branda's shop Etsy $150
Some of my favorite clients are getting a paper treat this year from the elves here at Richie Headquarters. It's seriously so cute I don't want to give them away.
2 color letterpress on pearl white paper. linoleum block printing and vintage type were hand inked and printed to create the master images I used - then turned into vector art for the master plate. a true merging of new and old technology!
I learned about James De La Vega today. He's a NYC artist, some call a graffiti artist. Spreading the word and hope of becoming your dream. Sweet sentiment I found a little video about him on youtube [below]
reminds me very much of one of my favs Jean-Michel Basquiat 80's graffiti artist turned art world darling.

nice little song, nice little video. I *heart* stop motion.
I've seen some fun commercials lately. Tommy's is one of my favorites. Also? the man at the end...to answer his question, Yes, I do when they look like you.
{PS have you noticed that Honda Autos is using the same song in their commercials? I would be so bummed if I were them. The Tommy ad came out first. Someone dealing with that tune should have known it was already being used. #ADfail}
I just put the jersey sheets back on our bed. Warm, furry, yummy sheets they make such a difference. This morning I woke up clutching a pillow like a bear and realized I'm still 6 while I sleep. Then this morning I saw this:
and realized maybe I'm just six all day long in a bigger body. snuggle up baby bunnies!
